Best hot dog sauce! I've been loving it for 50 years!!! Still the same recipe. Many have tried to copy but failed big time. Very unique. Must try! Great staff. Fast service. Fair prices.
Friendly waitress, fantastic food, service and price. Anna was an exceptional waitress and we were a party of 7. Our orders were delivered in a very short time and everyone said it was delicious. We were visiting in the area for a convention and saw this restaurant while walking. Glad we stopped in. Albany, you have a gem here in this city!!! Be sure to check this place out!
Ordered over the phone because I work down the street. Within 8 mins of calling I showed up and was surprised my order was ready. I ordered a steak and cheese with modifications so there was no way they had that pre-made. When I arrived around 1pm on a Thursday there was a table of 3. Good time to go; food was delicious and hot. Ordered one other time (buffalo wrap) and that was great too. A little too much buff sauce for my liking. If you don't like anything too spicy, request for light buffalo. Besides that everything is great. Friendly staff, quick, clean, and cheap! Cash only :)
They only take cash, but for lunch under $6.00 you cannot beat it - bacon cheeseburger and fries. The lunch puts the lunch that I get at my work's cafeteria to shame! Great job!! I will be back.
D.H.W in downtown Albany at the TUC arena is awesome. Old time sit down counter, good personal service. The food is great and pricing even better. Forget Aramark and food inside arena which is over priced and basically sucks. When I attend AHL games or concerts I rarely buy food inside the arena. Dallas Hot Weiners has great selection, best prices, and delicious food!
Only bad thing about the his place is they aren't open past 4pm mon-fri and they are closed on weekends unless there is an event. Awesome breakfast sandwiches, burgers, dogs and the meat sauce is awesome
If you’re downtown and you want hotdogs these guys got them. Good price, fast and friendly service. Cash only, but still great.
Quick service, most of the food is ok at best but the breakfast sandwiches are great. The “special” meat sauce is nothing to write home about.
