Review Dave & Buster's - Albany

Took my kiddos (11 and 8) to this location. Enjoyed as always when we visit. Plenty of choices for games and ticket geared games. The location is clean and seems as though a staff member is always nearby if needed. The bathrooms were clean, and food or drink is a few steps away. If you need to tire the kids out or yourself with a beer and video game, this would be a good place to go for a few hours.

Always have a great time here. Food was great and game play was fun. Prize room has excellent choices as well. Only negative aspect is the cost. Pricing has gone up quite a bit. Meals and game play set us back $250 for a family of 4. Will return...just not as often as we'd like.

Great big selection of games to play! Staff has always been really nice to us, clean location and plenty of things to do. My only reason for 4 star is the food, in my opinion isn't great. The fries were good, my burger was okay but super greasy and there were fruit flies all around us which made me a little turned off to eat more. But the games are fun, the drinks were really good (for the adults), plenty of space. Good selection of prizes.

There are a lot of fun games to play, that one can choose from, and the staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaint, which ruins my experience is that the games are ridiculously overpriced. The only reason I go to Dave and Busters is because my local arcade that I went to for many years closed. Dave and Busters is like twice as expensive, and for some games even 8 times more expensive than the arcade I used to go to. Games that at my old arcade would only cost a quarter cost like almost 2 dollars at Dave and Busters just for one play. On top of the tokens being ridiculously overpriced, one also has to pay a $3 activation fee. Like what is there to activate? And some of the games that cost a lot to play don’t even give out good amounts of tickets. Chuck E. Cheese’s is far better. Even though they have a lot less games, at least I don’t have to spend an absurd amount of money to play there. The things I like about Dave and Buster’s are that there is a large selection of games to play, and the staff are friendly. I haven’t tried the food here, but I personally don’t go to arcades for the food anyways. If this place could be like several times cheaper, and get rid of the activation fee, then it would become my favorite arcade, but until then, I prefer Chuck E. Cheese’s.

I'm giving a 4 star review because when using some of the games we would swipe our cards and credits would be taken of taken off but the game would not work. Also the kiosks we not working properly and took our money but that was resolved by just going to the manager on duty with a receipt and he took care of it. We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves with these being the only problems we had. Enjoyable and fun atmosphere though.

It was my son's birthday! Service and waiter Abe was great! Very nice and helpful. The girl at the front door to get our reservation was talking to her girlfriend and playing on her phone for 10 mins while we waited. We had a really great time! The games were very fun. The only thing I found wrong was the cost of the games. And cards. You have to buy the game card. 3$ each, so their goes 15$ with out getting 1 game. Then a lower priced plan was $140 to have 250 credits on each card. The popular game cost 10.7 to 10.9 credits per turn. So it goes fast! With food and games our bill was well over $200 for a family of 2 adults and 3 kids. I think that prices people out of coming in regularly! It won't be a weekly thing for us. Not a monthly thing either. But it was fun!

I went to Dave and busters with the wife and kids and son in law for my youngest 18th birthday and may I say: waiter was very extra in serving us and taking our order and the games was worth it. The people who work there know exactly all the information about their restaurant. I would give a 10 star rating but unfortunately I can't. Lisa was our waiter and she was pretty good. Keep up the great work.

Service was awesome. our first server was fast an very nice. The person who delivered our food to the table WAS AWESOME!!! GREAT EXPERIENCE GREAT FOOD

So we went to Dave and Busters in Cross gates mall tonight, and let me say that being a vegan, it was extremely difficult to find anything good. I ended up ordering a portables burger. I asked them to put no butter on the bun or anything. They came out with a portobello mushroom in a butter saturated bun, a mushroom and some spinach. There were no onions and the burger lacked flavor. Then I was offered a dessert for the terrible burger and being a vegan I can’t eat any of their dessert. I understand that having vegan options is not always the easiest thing to provide, my problem is that the staff didn’t really seem to know what a vegan was. First my stuff is slathered in butter and then I’m offered a free dessert with cream, eggs, or milk chocolate in it. I went to Red Robin and they were completely accommodating and had options for me. I just feel like Dave and Busters didn’t even try.

My fiancé and I both ordered a buffalo wing burger, Medium well, there were both raw in the middle and we left feeling sick. I ended up throwing up my entire meal. The chicken wings on the burger were disgusting. I asked for blue cheese for them when my meal was delivered, and never got it, but doesn’t matter because I wouldn’t have eaten them anyway after the first bite.

Didn’t go in with high expectations since I know this is more about the games than the food but I was pleasantly surprised. The mac and cheese was very good but very small portion for the price. My daughter enjoyed hers and got a bigger portion. My cocktail was excellent. Place is very loud and crowded hard to find seating. Next time I would go during he week so it is hopefully less crazy.

The waitress was great! However took a long time waiting for the food to come ou. when arrived was luke warm and the french fries were cold �. Food tasted good (except the disappointment on both the food temperature and the prices), just too expensive$$ for the small amout recieved. Not worth the price.

We had our work holiday party tonight and D&B KILLED it. It was absolutely perfect. Courtney and Abbey were wonderful to work with in terms of communication, price point and understanding the type of party we wanted. The function room was the right size for 70 guests, there was more than enough food (actually too much)and the servers offered the best service. Thank you again- we appreciate it!!

Love the fun I have with my grandson. But the wait staff was very slow. Had to wait 15 minutes before seeing a waiter n another 5 to place order. There were only 8 tables seated. So one waiter should have been able to handle it. Although he was extremely nice and good once he came to table.

We went to Dave and buster last night at Crossgates mall , we sat there for almost 25 minutes and no body came to serve us.after 25 minutes a young girl came and the v Rudely she said you guys can decide, I am going to drop menu and gone and then after waiting for ten minutes we decided to leave that pathetic place.

We held my sons 7th birthday party at the D&B in Albany yesterday. The staff was incredible and very well organized. I was extremely skeptical about this place after a horrible dining experience. However, the way everything went for my sons party changed my opinion for the better. My son and his friends said it was the best party ever! Keep up the great work!!!

Our server was great! Food was good, kids had fun. Some of the games took a ridiculous amount of tokens/points to play, and the odd numbers (like 6.4) was silly. But over all we had a great time. For 2 kids and 2 adults we paid about $120. the kids each had over 125 tokens on their cards and we bought one to share that had 60. And we each got a meal and drinks. Bit pricey but fun and clean!

The best arcade ever! Food Is decent for this atmosphere and makes up for it with sheer entertainment

Went there yesterday for my daughters Birthday. Food was ok but one dinner wasn’t. Waiter and one manger was ok about it and took care of it. The worst part about our experience was the kitchen forgot about our dinner and the other manager Rick was very rude and disrespectful. Luckily the waiter and the other manager was good. We just might go back

I order Philly cheesesteak it was good but French fries were ice cold manager happened to walk by asked for salt and basically walked by and dropped it didn’t ask ..terrible service if you like video games and loud noise you will like this place ...finally walked out when some lil girl was having a seizure....told the people at front desk and they did nothing

My cousin and I brought our kids here. Slowest service in my life. The food was overpriced for what it was. I could have made it at home. The appetizer came out before our drinks got to the table (it took about 20 minutes to get our drinks) my salad had bits and pieces of brown in it that I picked out with cold chicken. Our server came by to take our plates and we told her we were all set. She came back with our check 10 minutes later. Meanwhile we had eager children wanting to play games. She took the check and didn't come back for a while. As irritated as we were we stayed to play games. I waited in a long line just to have the manager start telling people at the BACK of the line about the kiosks to the side although I was the third person in line. Really?? Overall a disappointing experience.
