A little gem Japanese restaurant nestled in Bay Farm , Alameda. With literally thousands of Japanese eateries crowded in the east bay, it's rather amazing that Angel Fish still holds its place without losing its touch. I'd recommend it for lunch and dinner when it's openπŸ€—πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ Updates: Sneaked out for a quick Japanese lunch before a long teaching day πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€— Angel Fish is indeed delicious!!! πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜œ

Excellent food and service. You really feel like you're at home with the staff. A truly hidden gem in Alameda.

Worth visiting, take a walk along the estuary and then the owner of 20 years will make you some excellent food for the price. Go for dinner!

γ¨γ¨γ‚‚γŠγ„γ—γ„γ§γ™γ. The sushi was legit and I'm a snob when it comes to sushi, they import the Uni from japan so it's a darker orange than the yellow tone sushi off the California coast and everything was fresh.

The service was above average. The Sushi was fresh and delicious. However we chose this restaurant because of a Groupon. When we arrived we were informed they do not work with Groupon. Not a problem, Groupon refunded us, and gifted us $10 credit. It was just a small disappointment to not have a restaurant honor their commitment.

The food is fresh and delicious. I always get the tuna sashimi salad and a few rolls but the prices keep going up. I know times are tough and the food is fantastic but I can't afford to eat here as much as I'd like.
