It was my first time and the food and service was to die for. The garlic noodles with grilled chicken, the catfish nuggets, the classic Pho soup was delicious. I am going next week for lunch with my hubby. Love to sit outdoors and look at the water and boats. Love this place never had Vietnamese food before.
I had the bouncing beef, coconut rice and a side of garlic noodles. It was delicious. There were four of us. Three loved their food and only one was disappointed with her order. I have eaten there many times and have never been disappointed. Absolutely will return. Loved our waiter!

Great ambiance, fantastic setting, genuinely nice workers, and all topped off with delicious food. If you're in Alameda and want to enjoy some delicious Asian cuisine, Dragon Rouge is your place.
Nice asian bistro by the water in door and out door seats available. Food was well seasoned and they have a diverse menus. Definitely coming back for seconds. Thank you very much!
This place beat our expectations by all means. Great outdoor location beside water, ambience and awesome selection of dishes. The hot clay pot, garlic noddles and salad was so good. Drinks are unique and service is top notch. Gina took care of our table and she was fabulous and helpful in guiding us through the menu. Kingsley was incredibly kind, informative and courteous to reserve a table for us. We will be back for many more dinners. Kendric is so caring and kind. This place is a hit among our family members.
So if you read my review on Star Pizza my friend and I had lunch a couple days after we did star and we chose Dragon Rouge. Completely different experience!
It was lunch and because of the monetary size of the order they didn't charge the delivery fee. Simply wrote it off the bill.
Second condiments were accounted for everything had required sauce chopsticks etc etc not like Star looking for blue cheese and celery sticks that didn't come with our chicken wings. But I digress. The hidden jewel in the menu is the Clay pot catfish. I don't even think it's listed as their favorite but if I was to have died that day I would have died a very very content person. It's not your typical catfish flavor. You would think it's a solid white meat like monk or cod but it is to die for and it should be on your on your weekend "hey let's go get a drink and munch" list. I'm not steering you wrong the catfish is off the πͺ We it also had steam dumplings (I'm still drooling over those), wings of course, calamari, salmon with coconut rice, very very good but in my humble opinion paled next to the catfish. The first time I went there I knew it was going to be a great place just by looking and liquor shelf. The right top shelf labels solid mix of medium and they pour a very good well. Of course the view it's wonderful but this place could be in a strip mall in BFEUSA and I would take a Greyhound bus to get the catfish!.
We made it for Happy Hour and stayed for supper. The curry was delicious and the wing app was well spiced. The Dragon's nest was also good and my friend liked the coffee float dessert.
Having grown up watching films like Enter the Dragon and The Last Dragon, I knew I had to keep the theme going and check out this hidden gem. Having been my first time there, I played it safe and ordered the catfish.... Shortly after, the Salmen plate πππ. What can I say I love my fish and they know how to make it delicious. A nice chill spot near the water.
It was our first time there. We had a prefect evening out with the family. The food and service was excellent. The menu has vegan and meat options. That was great for us. I know we will be going back.
Good Vietnamese fusion food. Price is average. At times it's busy due to private functions or parties. There have indoors and outdoors sitting. We go there quite often. As always, good food n good service
