Surprisingly Good. E stopped in the Airway Heights restaurant (there is one in Grand Coulee as well) because it was there and we were tired and hungry after a day in the Channeled Scablands.
We were immediately impressed by the appearance of the restaurant and the waitstaff. The place was clean and well decorated and waitstaff were all snappily dressed in white shirts and black tied.
I ordered the fish tacos and my wife ordered a fajita salad,
My first bite of the fish taco was fish taco heaven, One of those "dang this is wonderful" moments. I've eaten fish tacos from Key West to Kona with lots of places in between and can honestly say I have never had better,
The plate was so large I shared a taco with my wife (who is not a real fish taco person). She also thought the fish tacos were wonderful, Her fajita salad was also good but did not have the artistic flavor of the fish tacos.
The prices are a bit high, but the portions are large enough to satisfy two.
Unfortunately Airway Heights is a pretty good way from where I live, but I am sure I will be going back
All Good Here.... Solid comfort Mex. Especially on a rainy, wintery day in Eastern Washington. They are not doing anything in particular to separate themselves from dozens of other Hispanic joints in the county, but there are some factors that I like and that will bring me back. I liked the dining area. It was comfortable and warm, without a stereotypical loud, fiesta atmosphere. A very nice staff, with relaxed, helpful and attentive waiters. Reasonable prices. I've read the complaints about expense here, but they've been mostly about drink prices. When I go for Mex I'm about the food--not about the libation. The photos I'm posting were lunch specials, and all under $8. That, my friends, is tough to beat. Good place in the West Plains, and more than likely the best Mex in Airway Heights until I find out otherwise...
"BEST" Mexican Restuarant I've been too period! I grew up near the border in New Mexico and this place is Authentic as it gets. Massive portions and good prices. The service is outstanding aswell. If you want superb Mexican food this is where you need to come. Did I mention the service? Feels like a fast food joint with how fast your serverd.
Muy delicioso!!!. Regarding Matt's review---FIRST OF ALL it clearly states on the liquor menu/table ads to ask your server for prices. The $16 Margarita you are referring to is the 64oz...our waiter clearly told us how big each size was and how much they cost--we decided from there. I highly doubt they just automatically serve everyone a half gallon Margarita....LOL
Outstanding service and incredible food. Our first visit will not be our last. Best salsa we've had in a long time. Huge portions and everything was sooooo delish! beautiful presentation...and this place is nicely decorated...not over done. Our waiter brought extra warm tortillas--kept our water glasses full and helped us out when we couldn't decide on what to order. He knew his stuff because everything we ordered was outstanding!!
Everyone was so friendly--good prices...extremely clean---we will def go back to La Presa!
DELICIOUS!!. Fast food, friendly service and really authentic! I used to live in arizona when i arrived here i began asking locals where was a good place to go for dinner just about every body said "La Presa". So we decided to go one night with my husband and the kids. When we arrived we were quickly seated and givin our chips and salsa which had a spicy kick to it. It is a family run buisness and they were all very friendly. The food was Great and we will definately go again! The margaritas are huge! I ordered the large and boy was that a mistake i couldnt finish it! I believe it was around 60 oz!!

Birthday lunch with my husband and granddaughter.
I love my chili rellenos so my husband ordered me the one with 2 rellenos (I'd stepped outside as I didn't get cell reception inside)
What I got was rellenos with beef inside. I'd never had them this way before and didn't even know this way a way.
Although I still prefer my rellenos plain (without meat), if I'd never had them "my" way before this meal, I'd really love it "this" way.
I'm just a creature of habit when I find something I really like, I don't go looking to change it.
My meal was served on a monster sized platter and every inch filled. There's no skimping here.
My husband just had a burrito which filled him and my granddaughter ordered from the kids meal and was only able to eat half her plate (like I said, no skimping).
Although they display a monster sized Margareta glass they only serve them normal sized, (sorry folks).
The service got a response from my 10 year old grandchild as he walked away...
"I like him, he's real nice" (out of the mouths of babes...)
Great restaurant! Extremely friendly and helpful service. Prices are rather steep, but the food portions reflect it. You definitely get what you pay for. The food was fantastic; truly authentic Mexican food. Highly recommended.
Absolutely delicious Mexican food. And I have been to a lot of places! Everything we have tried is great but our absolute favorite is the prawn fajitas. Super friendly staff!
6 stars if possible! We are new to the area and searching for good Mexican food. While we do read reviews before going, we typically like to experience places for ourselves when the reviews are mixed and found this restaurant to be fantastic! Yes, the salsa was spicy but oh so good, that's why we like Mexican food! I ordered a margarita and the young man serving us happily explained the sizes and flavors. My husband had a combo dinner of Chile relleno and shredded beef chimichanga. I had a mixed seafood chimichanga minus the rice. Everything was hot and delicious and more quantity than we could eat in one sitting. Service and food were both excellent and can not wait to try more menu items as there were so many choices that sounded so good! We look forward to our next visit!
They were very busy on a Monday evening. The food and service were out of this world! We live out by deer park and they are worth driving for!!!! BEST IN TOWN FORSURE♡
