Review Tadashi Restaurant - Aiea

We found this place after looking for a 4-star+ place for lunch after landing at the airport. While the dining room is pretty limited due to extremely reduced service staff (lunch reservations required, but we got lucky due to a cancellation). The food was excellent and service extremely friendly. Based on what we got, the tonkatsu was thick and juicy, tekka maki overflowing with fish, and the butterfish misoyaki was delicious. The chicken karaage was good, but not exceptional. Will definitely come back if we’re in the area again.

Great sushi and super friendly staff. Big portions and a lot of variety on the menu. Guys behind the counter are great and the serving staff is very friendly and helpful. Been there twice and will definitely be going regularly.

We loved the friendliness of the staff; even though we came in close to closing they were super friendly and offered us the full range of choices. We really appreciated that. The food was utterly beautiful in it's presentation and was delicious as well. Thank you, Tadashi we will be returning.

Best sushi I’ve had so far on Oahu! Fresh fish, amazing flavors!! Highly recommend the Hot Hawaiian Roll and Hawaii Five-0!!

Always good food and service. We like to come here and eat the Udon and tempura combo, hamachi sushi, specialty rolls, miso soup and they have this special salmon and cucumber with special sauce for regular customers, so damn good!!! plenty of parking.

Great food with amazing service! The sushi bar is something I’d recommend to EVERYONE with amazing cuts of BIG fish fresh for the taking.

Friend recommended this place to me. Brought my wife here for lunch. Service was friendly and fast. I order the Miso Butterfish and she ordered the Shrimp Tempura. Food was delicious! I only wished the portion was a little bigger.

One of my favorite Japanese restaurants in the Pearl City area. Fish and sushi are solid. Food is tasty. Great place for families.

Good food, amazing service 👌

Was seated quickly. For groups of three or more a reservation is required. The staff are very friendly. They do serve sake and shochu. I did not find myself waiting long for my food. I can't wait to go back.

Excellent food and service. The misoyaki salmon was delicious. My wife had the miso butterfish and she said it was maybe the best she's ever had.

The best Miso Butterfish! I couldn't wait to come back and eat this. Their Hawaii 5-0 roll is also great.

This place never fails. Butterfish is ono and the sushi bar is an experience all of itself. I always recommend Tadashi to visitors who want good sushi. Service is always pleasant and swift.

Delicious food in good sized portions! Miso butterfish teishoku and Agadeshi tofu are favorites. In Jan 2023 they are short staffed but still delivering a great experience. When going for lunch, call before 11 for a reservation.

Service was excellent and the food was amazing. I will be back for sure.
