Not the best experience here today. Website not updated with opening hours, and nobody ever answers the phone. Service friendly, but forgetful. Food and drink OK but the workstation surround was badly broken and dirty. Not good for somewhere preparing food.

A nice Japanese restaurant. It has all the staples. The sushi was good. And the hibachi grilled food was delicious. Would be good for the waiters to ask if its a persons first visit and explain a little. Overall a good place.

Walked in and sat right down. We've eaten at a lot of Japanese steakhouses and while this isn't on the same playing field as Benihana, it still does the trick. Tables are a little sticky but the service is really good and it's fun to bring the family here. Just don't expect fine dining.

The pandemic has clearly been very difficult on teppanyaki restaurants which rely on dining-in services. Unfortunately, this Yamato location seems to have only recently come out of mothballs.
