Red Lobster

It’s been many years since we ate at a Red Lobster, as there are none in New England. We started with cocktails, Mudslide and Lobster Punch. We shared the Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms. Then we had Coconut Shrimp and Snow Crab Legs. Drinks were great and the food was very good. Our server Emily was very friendly and helpful. There is plenty of parking available on-site.

Excellent service, but food was a bit disappointing. Ordered unlimited soup, salad and bisciuts. I requested Lobster bisque and it was so salty, almost brine. Waitress brought me a bowl from "fresh" batch and it was better. Thing is our party was there at opening. Did I get left over soup??? Usually a good meal, guess we all have off days.

The server was WEIRD. Greeted us by saying "Welcome to the MAAGICAAL Red Lobster!" While making some weird hand gesture. It made my fiance and I very uncomfortable and we almost left in that moment. She then proceeded to call us kids, which wasn't appreciated. I order the Friday night Fish Fry and got one piece of fish and French fries instead of the baked potato that I ordered. Limited dipping sauce. Then I didn't get the Friday night Fish special price, but I was too upset to even try to dispute it. I just wanted to pay and leave. The ONLY good thing about dinner were the biscuits which we only got after asking for them. Definitely will not be back to this location. Very disappointed with our experience. Ruined what was supposed to be a good anniversary dinner.

Service was fantastic, which was the saving grace! My Caesar salad was made with mostly the hard ends of the romaine. The coconut shrimp was fully cooked but the coating seemed mushy in some spots but was falling off and made a mess! The sangria was watery and didn't have much flavor. All in all just a very disappointing experience.
