What a great find!! Me and my wife stumbled upon this place for dinner last week. It is located in the old cafe Brazil Addison location in the building behind the addition improv. We are always looking for fresh new foods and places and this certainly for that bill. Menu is inspiring with an American base but with added international fusion. We also met the owner and chef who both have worked and operated restaurants in USA and Europe, creating his new fresh concept in Dallas. The interior is really cool and pleasant. As the name suggests, they have a solid offering of meat with option to select beef, pork or chicken with most dishes. My wife and I split the burger and the pasta salad and they were both fantastic! Perfect portions and felt fresh and light even though a lot of food. Service was good even tough just opened and staff very pleasant all the way around. Feels like this is place where “everyone knows your name” and you are just not only a number. We will definitely make this a weekly staple!!!!

I am so very impressed with the food, management, employees, etc. The food and service was incredible and the manager (or owner?) was the sweetest lady and made my friend and I feel so special and welcomed! The item pictured is the combo star and I was amazed at how great it was. A combo of a light salad and rice and veggie dish topped with chicken and house made sauces. Wow. Highly recommend.

This place was awesome. Food was excellent. Had the Ugly Duckling. Yummy! Truffles were tasty. Definitely coming back.

Very nice vegetarian restaurant that replaced where cafe Brazil used to be. Small menu of salads, sandwiches and meal entrees. Even has a taco entree. Has a variety of cocktails and craft beers. Very professional customer service. Seating inside with limited outdoor seating. Has a swedish coffee that is very smooth. Great for families, friends and eating solo. Nice for dating and business meetings. Definitely suggest you try it. Try their creme brulee. ENJOY!!

We happened to walk into this place and SO glad we did! It was our first time eating out since the pandemic started and so glad we decided to make this restaurant our first experience back out. Great place to eat! The food is fantastic. Phenomenal flavors! We are definitely going back!

I do not say this lightly when I tell you that The Ugly Duckling is the best burger you can grab in Addison and quite possibly in all of North Dallas. I am so glad I happened to come across the place and dropped in on a whim during lunch. Not only is the food ineffably delicious in an elegant yet complex way, the staff is also so amazingly friendly and caring.

My wife and I stumbled on this place on Valentine's Day and we're so glad we came across it. The wait staff were fantastic. The first question they asked was if this was our first time. When we said yes, they said welcome again and sat us down. Our waitress asked us our names and was very timely with filling out drinks. The ambiance of the place was great for the occasion. There was a local musician playing and he set the mood very well. The food was AMAZING. It took a little long, but it was so worth it. I got the Mediterranean Yummy with a side salad. We also got a Swedish desert that was delicious. Can NOT recommend this place enough.

What a great hidden gem! The service was amazing and the food was great as well. The menu is small, but great flavors. Everyone's food looked great and the presentation was unique. I will definitely be back!

Great place for conversation. Delicious food. A friend invited me here for lunch today. I liked the menu--a selection of gourmet sandwiches you can't get everywhere else. I got the Japanese love which was delicious. The slaw was unexpectedly good and the sweet potato fries were the best I've ever eaten. The service was personable and the perfect amount of helpful without hovering. It was a great experience. Would love to go back.
