Review Famous Dave's Bar-b-que - Addison

Since food was great, the service friendly, and the atmosphere pleasant. It's been years since I last been to a Famous Dave's (as the one by me closed a while back). Since I was in the area, I had to get some, and I was not disappointed! I ordered the feast for 2. Ribs, chicken, brisket, a couple sides, ect. It was just as good as it has always been. Everything had flavor. It was cooked well, and plenty of choices to choose from. Although it's out of my way, I'll definitely come back (even if only for pickup). If I had to say anything negative, it would have to be about the beer. I ordered a tall Dos XX, and it somewhat tasted watered down. The waitress (Thais) was excellent. She did a great job, answered our questions, always asked if we needed anything but not to the point where it felt it was asked to many times, and promptly gave us our food when it was ready. The atmosphere wasn't as great as the old location by me, however, it was still pleasant. Makes me wish there was a closer location because Famous Dave's was always a go-to spot for my family and I. I definitely recommend. I'll definitely will be back.

Not bad at all! I had Iris's Comeback Chicken Sandwich and it was perfectly crispy and cooked just right. Very flavorful! Service could have been a little friendlier, but it was a decent lunch!

Unlike usual, the ribs were little dry and not as tender. The rest was good. Pies were great. There were only two servers and they were so busy.

I had the rib tips, mac and cheese, fries and corn bread. Such a delicious meal! Wish I would have gotten more sides because everything tasted so good and the portions were great! Can't wait to visit again.

I wish you could enjoy the experience of walking in the door and getting smacked in the face with the delicious smells. This is not my first trip to Famous Dave’s in Addison IL but the first on a Memorial Day holiday. Awesome atmosphere of family style seating or small tables. Service was stellar getting your food prepared while we enjoyed great conversation and laughter with Betty (our wonderful waitress). We tried all three barbeque sauces. My favorite sauce is Devil’s Spit! This is a must stop if you don’t feel like hovering over the grill sweating and cooking! Just sit down and pig out!

Kimmy was our server. She was great. Food was real good. I had the 2 meat combo , would have liked to have it come with a small coleslaw , would be better option than corn bread next time ......

We enjoyed the delicious food, but the best part was meeting Betty!!! She is so sweet, friendly & kind. She is an outstanding server & we will definitely return because of her. She explained the menu & made great recommendations. Famous Dave’s is lucky to have Betty as part of their team!!!

One of my ultime favorites spots for BBQ! The food is to die hard and the portions are hearty!! My family and I love to get our BBQ cravings here and not once have they failed us! Great food and amazing service every time! Glad that I can find a location near me every single time whether I am in Illinois or perhaps visiting family in California!

Sooo delicious! Great service, made to order and finger looking good! Everything from Ribs, rib-tips, burnt ends, brisket, collared greens, but we all loved their mac-n-cheese!!!

I had never eaten at Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que before last night. I knew when I pulled up to the full parking lot, and had a 35 minute wait, the food was going to be good. I enjoyed the two meat combo of beef brisket, country roasted chicken, steamed broccoli, french fries and a perfectly made Arnold Palmer. I only took a star away because I really wanted to try their garlic mash potatoes, but they were out. They also had ran out of the cornbread muffins, which was included with the meal.

The wings are always on point!! Kimberly is always the best!! She knows you by name and aims to make your visit the most it can be each time!! Truly appreciate the smiling face and customer satisfaction that comes with every visit!! Thank you Kimberly and Famous Dave’s!!!

We had a wonderful dinner and service at the Addison location. Thais was a kind, attentive and great server. She made sure we received our order and was very helpful in getting what we needed. We had our 1-year old child and she made her feel so welcome. Thank you for a great dinner experience.

Had the All American Feast. Food was great except banana pudding sucked, lol. Also, lemonades are too watered down; barely more than slightly colored water. I’ll go back again, just won’t have dessert or lemonade. Service was great.

Took advantage of the lunch special for $9.99. Can’t find a better meal anywhere else.

The food is good, no argument there, but I take out orders at least once a month and virtually every time I do, I am missing food. I shouldn't HAVE to check my bags, should I?

Service was great, food not so much. Mashed potatoes and broccoli were both cold. Ribs were mediocre. Won’t be back. I hate to be negative, just being honest. Wife said her soup was good.
