Atlantic Sea Grill

In my opinion this is without question the best seafood restaurant in the area! The food is always fresh and delicious and the atmosphere is great! The staff is welcoming and very friendly! If your looking to take the family out for dinner or grab a bite to eat and a few drinks you will not be disappointed!

Today we had one of the worst dining experiences that we have ever had at Atlantic Sea Grill. We had reservations for 6pm, and were seated immediately. Great! It then took 10-15 minutes for someone to come by and ask if we'd been helped for drinks. It was busy, so no big deal. We were then able to order our appetizers and food. Appetizers came out in 10-15 minutes. After that, we waited over an hour until we spoke up about our food not being done yet. We had seen multiple other tables whom came after us be served before us. The "manager"(who we believe to be the owner) came out with attitude and explained that it was busy and that it would take some time on busier days. He then asked what he could do for us, and we just asked to get us our food. 5 minutes later our food comes out. The fries, rice, and vegetable sides were all room temp or cold. The burger we ordered medium came well done, but the food wasn't bad at all, quite nice actually. We finished eating and were going to pay but wanted to talk to the "manager" one more time about our experience. He came over and very rudely asked "What's the problem now?" and we explained that one of our dishes was wrong, and that given the circumstances and based on our past working in the food industry, that we think that they should do something for us. He then called us "irrational and crazy" then told us to never come back. All over them messing up. Other people who were in our area left after seeing how this supposed manager was treating people. He then threatened to call the police on us. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Please don't ever complain about the service, or else some crazy man will call the police on you.

Very expensive and disappointing. The $34 lobster roll is a very small portion of lobster SALAD. It is not buttered and hot. The $34 pan seared scallop entree had 6 medium sized scallops. Very Disappointing. The $38 fried fisherman's platter was tasty but nothing extraordinary or special. I won't be going back.

This evening we experienced a shocking event. My family was here celebrating Mother’s Day. There was one other family in our section of the restaurant doing the same. Both parties ended up waiting an hour and a half to get our food. Right before we received our food, we asked the manager when it would be done and he told us the reason for the wait was because the kitchen was backed up fulfilling take out orders. The manager assisted the wait staff in bringing out food to the other party and they calmly gave feedback about maybe not accepting reservations if you can’t fulfill the in house customers needs, especially if you’re seemingly focusing more on fulfilling take out orders. We finished our meal the same time as the other party and overheard them saying to their waitress that there was a mis charge on the bill- they were apparently charged $24 for a large pasta instead of a kids pasta dinner they ordered for their 7 year old child- and asked to speak to the manager to get it sorted out. The manager came out and immediately told them they have been unreasonable the entire evening and to quote “get the f@&k out of here and never come back.” On Mother’s Day. In front of a 7 year old child. We will never be coming here even through our server was pleasant and will tell others to avoid bringing their business here as well.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I wish I could leave zero stars. My family waited an hour and a half for our food to come out. When we asked the manager what was going on he said they were too busy with the take out orders. We then witnessed the manager swear and scream at a family on Mother’s Day in front of a young child telling the customers to never come back after they asked about the slow service and calmly voiced their concerns. I will never eat here again nor recommend it to anyone I know.
