Visiting Aberdeen for the 1st time we received a recommendation for the Wild Ginger just today and decided to go there immediately. No regrets! We enjoyed tasteful Indian food in a very genuine atmosphere. Everything was perfect and Mamta was a very pleasant and friendly host. Thank you Mamta for your advice on the dishes.

Edit- second visit in the last few days. Mumta has been the perfect host, beautiful and lovely heart. Big step ahead of the competition in Aberdeen. From the service, the interior design, ambience to the meal. I very rarely leave a rating unless I'm very disappointed. My new favourite place to eat when I'm sent here.

Thank you to Mumta for fantastic service with a smile. Thanks to the chefs for the delicious food. The honey murgh tilwala and the pakora starters were excellent as were the mains. Will definitely go back as it’s the nicest Indian food I’ve had in Aberdeen

Very friendly, enthusiastic staff and exceptional food.
The manager even offered to cook a dish for my partner which hasn’t been on the menu for a year. Such personable staff are always a pleasure to come across.

There’s nothing mild about Wild Ginger as this restaurant offers up exceptional Indian food. The service was excellent and the food was probably one of the best Indian experiences I’ve ever had. You can’t fault this place at all!

Absolutely best Indian food my friend and I have ever had anywhere in the world, and we have eaten in Indian restaurants around the world. Everything was freshly made and incredibly flavorful. If you like Indian food and you are in Aberdeen, then you need to eat at Wild Ginger.

The food was amazing, the Goan curry was my top favourite. The restaurant was really clean. Only thing that has really let them down was the service being poor. It took a while before we were asked our order and we had to ask for water 3 times. We had piles of wine glasses on our table as they gave fresh glasses with each bottle, when asked to remove them we were told that it looks like we've ordered lots of drinks and they wanted customers to see this. At the end they asked if we wanted pudding or anything and we said we were fine just now, we were away to order another bottle of wine and they came and put down the bill.

This is probably one of the best restaurants for Indian cuisine in Aberdeen. What makes it more appealing is it's contemporary ambience and great service ☺️
